– Difficult as it may be to believe, some folks want to spend their Sunday nights watching something more upbeat than a show that tracks the moral decline of a cancer-stricken meth dealer. This interview- and clip-filled special showcases the rib-tickling likes of Seinfeld, The Simpsons, Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock, I Love Lucy, The Carol Burnett Show, and Malcolm in the Middle.

MDA Show of Strength Telethon, special telethon event from 9 to 11pm on ABC

– Ryan Seacrest, Backstreet Boys, Matthew Morrison, Luke Bryan, and Paula Abdul are among the stars set to appear at this year’s Muscular Dystrophy Association bash.

Monday, September 2nd

Tamra’s OC Wedding, series premiere at 8pm on Bravo

– The couple, who got engaged last year in beautiful Bora Bora, will let viewers in on all of the festivities leading up to the big day — from a joint Las Vegas bachelor and bachelorette party to Tamra’s dress fittings for her three custom-made dresses to the couple planning for the big day with their wedding coordinator. With only a few weeks to go, the pressure is on to pull off this fairy tale wedding, as Tamra balances running her own business, dealing with both sides of the family, and maintaining the peace amongst her boisterous fellow Housewives.

Comedy Central Roast of James Franco, comedy special from 10 to 11:30pm on Comedy Central

– The overbearingly versatile James Franco is poised to withstand the verbal slings and arrows of comedians and costars. Of course, it could just be yet another performance-art piece, but one thing’s for sure: Marina Abramovic can tell a mean fart joke.

My Big Fat Revenge, series premiere at 9pm on Oxygen

With a fresh set of eyes on old evidence, superior interrogation skills and access to advanced DNA technology and lab testing, Siegler and McClary are determined to bring about a legal and emotional resolution. Taking on a different unsolved crime each week, they will carefully re-examine evidence, question suspects and witnesses, and chase down leads in an attempt to solve cases that would have otherwise remained cold indefinitely.

Hello Ross, series premiere at 10pm on E!

Ross Matthews has logged so many hours on talk shows that is only makes sense that he finally has one of his own. Matthews first charmed late-night audiences as Ross the Intern on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno and as a regular guest on Chelsea Lately. Matthew promises that Hello Ross—the tagline for which is “hardcore fan-on-fan action”—will focus just as much on fans as on celebrities, connecting with viewers via social media. And Matthews isn’t afraid to go old school to encourage interaction: “I’m in the audience like Oprah used to be before she got tired and sat down.”
